Can COREtec be glued down? Yes, and here’s how…
Adhesive for COREtec
Yes, Coretec flooring can be glued down. Coretec is a brand of luxury vinyl flooring that is commonly installed as a floating floor, which means it is not directly glued to the subfloor. However, there may be situations where gluing down the Coretec planks is preferred or necessary.
If you choose to glue down Coretec flooring, it is important to use a recommended adhesive specifically designed for luxury vinyl flooring installations. The adhesive should be applied according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Gluing Down
Use only COREtec Cork Underlayment Adhesive (or) comparable premium multi-purpose adhesives. While COREtec Pro Plus is waterproof, it's not a moisture barrier.
