Decorative Layer
Definition of Decorative Layer
A decorative layer is the layer right below the topmost or wear layer of a flooring product. It is made of durable and resistant materials such as polyurethane or vinyl.
As the name suggests, the decorative layer determines the look and feel of a flooring product.

It ranges between 0.5 and 1.5 millimeters in thickness. Thicker layers are suitable for high-traffic areas that experience a lot of wear and tear.
