Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
Definition of Luxury Vinyl Plank
Popularly referred to as LVP, Luxury Vinyl Plank is a flooring material composed of several layers. It mimics the look, feel, and warmth of natural wood or stone flooring.
LVP flooring is an affordable and durable alternative to hardwood flooring that also boasts low-maintenance qualities. The impressive qualities of LVP floors can be attributed to its multiple and carefully combined layers.
The planks are fairly easy to install and can be laid directly on an existing subfloor, also called a floating floor. Its underside has adhesive that makes it possible to be glued down.
