Definition of Overlap Reducer

An overlap reducer is an edge flooring material that helps make a smooth transition between floors of different heights.

It covers up uneven edges and allows for expansion gaps when a floating floor material connects to a higher level floor or meets a wall. This allows the floating floor to move without being restricted.
