Solid Vinyl Tile (SVT)
Definition of Solid Vinyl Tile
Solid vinyl tile (SVT) is a type of pliable tile with a slip resistant texture and is usually cut in 12” by 12” squares or strips of three.
SVT tiles have a photographic print coating and are topped with a layer of vinyl.
Because they have more edges than regular tiles, the installation process requires the subfloor to be covered with adhesive. Still, they’re great for commercial settings like healthcare facilities, institutional settings, and education centers.
Tarkett Flooring offers versatility at its best with two main types of solid vinyl tile flooring which are Johnsonite Cortina Grande and Karim Kolors. The former is available in 42 broad-ranging colors while the latter is available in eight vibrant colors and four unique shapes.
Here are some of the vibrant SVT colors you can find at Floor City.
